Jen Routley

Jen was born in P.G. and raised in Comox. Her knack for fashion styling was apparent early on, as she describes herself as “one of those little girls who loved to give Barbie new hair cuts.” After high school, she moved to the Mainland to train at the Pacific School of Cosmetology. She gained further experience working at Hair Ways Studio under the tutelage of renowned father–son stylists Bruno and Paul Testini.

Jen returned to Comox to work at Salon Pure before joining the Roots family in 2008. She has worked with various colour lines like L’Oreal, La Biosthetique, Joico, ISO, and Paul Mitchell, and plans to further her education in the future with advanced courses in cutting and colouring. In her spare time, Jen enjoys painting and other creative pursuits (aside from Barbie make–overs).
