James Bourne
James started his apprenticeship at Roots the Salon four years ago, and has continued his formal education with advanced colour workshops and cutting workshops with KMS, Wella, Goldwell, and Biosthetique. As well, he enjoys taking part in photo shoots, hair competitions and trade shows.
While his personal style leans more to tattoos and alternative fashion, James has a perfectionist’s eye for detail and balance in design. He prides himself in being both creative and a good listener (especially if you have eclectic good taste in music!). His artistic vision is responsive to what each client has to say about their specific needs and preferences.
