Crystal-lee Young
Crystal-lee Young has been working in the makeup industry for 6 years. After having received extensive training at Blanche MacDonald’s Centre for Applied Design in the eight month intensive Makeup Artistry program, she moved to Toronto, Ontario and began her career. With training ranging from the simplest day makeup to complex special effects, Crystal-lee has worked in many different mediums including film and theatre. But as thrilling as these projects are, Crystal-lee is most fulfilled when she is able to educate on the proper application of every day makeup. She has been working with Jane Iredale mineral cosmetics since 2006 and it has become her product of choice where skin care and health is concerned. Crystal-lee is beyond thrilled to be joining the ROOTS team and is looking forward to seeing both new and returning faces!
